I am Lizette Fouche. From a young age, I have been captivated by various art forms, including painting and sculpting, as well as different art movements such as impressionism, cubism, and naturalism. Over the last few years I gained valuable insights into colour theory, techniques, tones, and values.My preferred medium is oil, and I specialize in painting landscapes. Recently, I have broadened my artistic horizons by experimenting with flowers and still lifes, finding great satisfaction in these subjects.My inspiration stems from the beauty of nature, particularly the sea, mountains, and old farmhouses in the South African landscape. I am drawn to the vibrant and radiant colours that characterize our beautiful land, and these hues are vividly reflected in my paintings.In addition to my love for landscapes, I have developed a profound appreciation for the intricate details of flowers and the timeless allure of still life compositions.
